Presentation

Chili Hesthøj is a gelding born in 2016. He has a really good expression with a pretty head on a well-set and well-formed neck. He has a strong topline and a spacious and rhythmical movement in all three gaits. Unfortunately, he was born very crooked-legged, and despite diligent efforts from our farrier, it was not possible to correct him completely. Therefore, he has a very incorrect front stance, which is why we have chosen to keep him as our own riding horse.

He is sired by Don DeLuxe with Florencio as the dam’s sire. His dam is the elite mare Flora Danica ERDH, who is also the dam of the mare Hortensia, who competes in S-dressage with a Finnish young rider. Hortensia is the dam of Filligran (by Fürstenball), who won the Youngster Cup in 2021 and debuted in Intermediare at the CDI event during the DV stallion show in 2022, where he placed.

The same dam line includes several Grand Prix horses.
