Flora Danica

Presentation

Flora Danica is designated as an Elite Mare, thus approved in ERDH. She is our reliable foundation mare, confidently leading the herd. Although not large, she is self-assured and brave. Born in Germany into the Oldenburger Verband, Flora Danica was purchased as a foal by Lone Bøegh Henriksen, who bred her for several years. In 2014, we acquired Flora Danica, a decision we have never regretted. She has given us many fine offspring and is a fantastic mother to her foals and other young horses.

Flora Danica is a noble mare with a very good expression and quick movements with good knee and hock action.

She is sired by Florencio I. She is the dam of the mare Hortensia, who competes in S-dressage with a Finnish young rider. Hortensia is the dam of Filligran (by Fürstenball), who won the Youngster Cup in 2021 and debuted in Intermediare at the CDI event during the DV stallion grading in 2022, where he placed.

Grading Description
