Digitalis Hesthøj is a mare born in 2017. She is the first generation of our own breeding of broodmares and the first mare born here at Stutteri Hesthøj.
Digitalis Hesthøj is a suitably noble and well-proportioned mare, appearing larger than her measured height of 166 cm at her saddle grading. Her movement is rhythmic and good ground cover with good action.
She has a very friendly temper and is quite talkative, making it difficult to enter the paddock without having a chat with Digitalis Hesthøj. These traits are passed on to her offspring.
She is sired by the elite stallion and World Champion of 5-year-old dressage horses, Revolution, who is now competing at Grand Prix level. Her dam’s sire is Florencio. Her dam is the elite mare Flora Danica ERDH, who is also the dam of Hortensia, competing at S-dressage with a Finnish young rider. Hortensia is the dam of Filligran (by Fürstenball), who won the Youngster Cup in 2021 and debuted in Intermediare at the CDI event during the DV stallion grading in 2022, where he placed.
The same dam line includes several Grand Prix horses.
